Christmas was a welcome end to the semester this year. I got to spend time family I haven't seen that much this semester. Or that I will see much this year. Between school, and trying to work enough to pay for my apartment, I don't have very many weekends where I can make it home. It is a bit depressing at times, but I can't do much else at this time. Sorry to say.
On a lighter note, Christmas was pretty cool. I got several books, (all from the Legend of the Seeker series), 21st century breakdown by Green Day, Dragon Age: Origins, Watchmen, and perhaps the coolest part: a Wok!
Now I can make bad asian food with better equipment. Should be fun.
Enjoy your break

Work is slow, time to write something.
I'm at work perusing online comics and random next blogs. I don't think we've had a call for a hour or so, which is a bit boring. Well, I mean, sometimes it's nice to have something to do besides wait for the phone to ring, and yet, I have to be here another hour and 20.
My partner in crime tonight was playing a rather crazy (but in that quiet, I'm going to be cute to your face, kind of way) game called "Plants vs. Zombies." Where the zombies would try to get to your house, and you have to plant various kind of damage dealing plants to stop them. After you get done with one level, it doesn't even switch up to a different area. Same house, same zombies, same mind numbing, but not quite boring, fun.
I have one more final, and then college is out for break. However, it's still bringing me right up next to Christmas. And then we're back to soon as well. It's going to be 4 weeks of working to. I'll have to come up with something to keep myself busy while I'm at working, waiting for your interwebs to break.
Back to work.

First Entry: The man behind the Blog.
Welcome to one of my sections of the internet. My name is Zach, and as my profile says, I am studying to be a computer engineer. I enjoy airsoft, video games, movies, novels, and music, among other things.
So you know where I'm coming from. I grew up in a small town next to a small city. My mom's an english major, and my dad is an electrical engineer. I grew up in the country, surrounded by New Order Amish (They have some technology such as tractors, house telephones, and community vans).
I am an Atheist. But, currently out of choice, not logical proof. I haven't had the time to sit down and work out my exact beliefs on the matter. "Why not be agnostic then?," one might ask. The answer is even though I can't prove they don't exist, I doubt they do, and that is enough for me to choose not to. I'd rather live my life, live this life, like there was no other. Like I had none before, and I have no more after. To see the world as beautiful, the people as interesting, and the places one of a kind. I'd rather see that this earth is our only shot, and that I should leave it in a better condition than it was when I got here. My dad usually follows that line with "otherwise, you're just a shit factory."
I believe there is something wrong with the environment. I believe that everyone deserves respect, until they stop giving it, it doesn't matter about race, religion, sexual orientation, philosophies, social standing, etc.
In other words, I'm fine with your beliefs, as long as they don't hurt or disrespect anyone elses.
I'm kindof an odd college student though. I don't smoke. I don't party. I don't do illegal drugs. I practically never drink. Hell, when I dislocated my shoulder I didn't even take the prescription painkillers they gave me, preferring otc ibuprofen.
I don't know what will end up in here. Things that outrage me perhaps? Things that were hilarious, probably. Maybe some past and present writings. But definitely things I find interesting.
Catch you on the flip side.
